New York Times covers the same manner of blogs to their website. The blog written on New York Times are more general than the blog written on The Age.   

The list of blog names are listed in the form of table. Obviously New York Times has more blog than the Age website. Also I noticed that the RSS feed option for New York Times is more easy to find and friendly than The Age.

Theage.com.au, which is a part of Fairfax Media Company based in Australia putting great effort to build the website more users friendly. If we talk about user friendliness than we have to consider real company opinion, according to the mumbrella.com.au, the boss of the Fairfax media operation defend the auto play video feature on the website saying that the majority of the users prefer to start the video automatically and at the same time they prefer the stop button on the video link as well. Whereas, New York times emphasise on the text base news than the video, according to the New York Times, the text are easy to download where the connection is concern.

Every business may associate or link to social network such as Facebook or twitter. Different websites have different number of followers. The New York Times has more followers than The Age. The number of follower shows how far the website has exposed and it clearly describe the power of the website on the internet compare to similar kind of website. The New York Times shows that the people more are interested to read the news from the New York Times than The Age.

As of my thinking, the follower of website also depends on the location and population of the related news paper region or the country where the newspaper is being issued. Like New York Times has more exposure due to the population factor than The Age which is  published in Australia.

Paywall The age.com.au has a different subscription fee according to the hour of access.  The news articles are limited for visitors while the access of other articles is given on the basis of subscription.
Social networking They have more than 4000 followers on different social networking websites. NY Times has more than 700,000 followers on different social networking websites.
iPad The Age is offering digital print for I pad users to access the newspaper. NY Times provide the RSS feed for I pad users by that they keep the pace with the latest technology.
